28% hike in Indian students receiving NZ Student Visas

28% increase has been witnessed in the numbers of NZ Student Visas received by Indians in 2017. This has been revealed by the figures announced by the New Zealand High Commission.

Indian students are more and more opting to Study in New Zealand. This nation has the best education system in the world as per the ‘Educating for the Future Index’ of the Economist Intelligence Unit.

Education New Zealand has started the 2018 Global Campaign. This is to take the message ‘Future-Proof Yourself’ to the students. It has also launched several promotions targeting students from India, as quoted by the Money Control.

New Zealand High Commissioner Joanna Kempkers said that the nation has been ranked as the nation for educating students for the future. This is as per the latest report of the Economist Intelligence Unit. Students are assisted to develop skills that are needed by the world by our education. They also identify innovative learning methods and gain the benefits of studying in a free, open and fair society, added Kempkers.

The latest figures revealed by the New Zealand High Commission reveal that there has been a 28% increase in the numbers of NZ Student Visas obtained by Indian students. The trends continue in 2018 and there has been a 6% increase in enrolments at universities. There has also been a 24% overall increase in first time NZ Student Visas till date.

The New Zealand High Commission is also holding diverse fairs organized by Recognized Agents across India. These include at Vadodara, Mumbai, Cochin, and Coimbatore. These fairs will highlight opportunities for higher education in New Zealand across 25 renowned institutions. The students will have opportunities to meet with representatives from New Zealand.
