New Zealand residency

In August 2018, the New Zealand government passed an order barring foreigners from buying homes in New Zealand. Only residents and the nationals of Australia and Singapore can buy homes in the country.

Nevertheless, if you are very rich, you can easily buy New Zealand residency. Residency, in turn, lets you buy a house in New Zealand.

New Zealand has Investor business migration visas for those investors that wish to gain residence in the country. These include –

  • Investor Visa (Investor 1 Category), for those looking to invest NZD 10 million or more.
