Federal Skilled Worker Class and Canadian Experience Class applicants have witnessed lowest Comprehensive Ranking System points in their categories of the Express entry draw held on May 31, 2017. Applicants in this draw were offered the Invitation to Apply if they had secured 413 or more points, quotes CIC News.
The majority of the candidates in the Express Entry scheme are eligible for at least one of the two programs. May 31 draw offered Invitation to Apply to 3, 877 applicants and this was the 65th draw in the pool held ever since Express entry was launched in January 2015.
Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada had offered Invitation to Apply to 543 applicants just five days ago in twin draws held concurrently. In these two draws the 64th and 63rd applicants who had secured 199 Comprehensive Ranking System points under the Federal Skilled Trades category as well as candidates with 775 Comprehensive Ranking System points along with a nomination from a province were offered the ITA.
This implies that three diverse draws have been held in a period of just five days that had diverse thresholds of Comprehensive Ranking System points. The ceiling for eligibility points has been reduced all across these Express entry programs.
June 1, 2017, onwards diverse improvements to the Express entry system will be made effective which will make the present period definitely the most stimulating in the hitherto history of this economic immigration program of Canada. The message is very apparent- this is the right time for prospective immigrants to Canada to create a profile and enhance their visibility to the draws that will be held by the IRCC.
