Fresh BC draw invites 345 overseas professionals and graduates

345 overseas professionals and graduates have received an ITA from British Columbia for nomination from the province in the latest immigration draws. The immigration draws were held on October 11 and 18 under the Provincial Nominee Program of British Columbia. The candidates who received the ITA include invitees under the Tech Pilot in Provincial Nominee Program of British Columbia

Categories under the Provincial Nominee Program of British Columbia are managed through Skills Immigration Registration System of British Columbia. Qualified candidates are required to register an account first before being able to apply through this category, as quoted by the Canadavisa.

Upon registration, candidates are offered scores based on their human capital and economic credentials. ITA is offered to the candidates with highest scores in one of the periodic draws held by BC. Candidates are required to possess a job offer from a BC employer for the categories managed under Skills Immigration Registration System.

345 overseas professionals and graduates who received the ITA also include invitees via the sub-category aligned with Express entry. After receiving the invitation, these candidates can receive by applying for enhanced nomination certificate of PNP BC.

Once they are successful in receiving the nomination from the province, candidates are offered 600 extra CRS points. This implies they will receive an invitation to apply for Canada PR in a subsequent draw held in the Express entry pool. The candidates must note that the ITA offered under Express entry pool and ITA under BC PNP is different.

Skilled professionals and graduates in the skilled immigration categories will get their Canada PR applications processed separately from the Express entry candidates. This will be done after they receive the nomination form British Columbia.
