There seems to be a new problem before Europe – the migrants! The drastic increase in the number of clients, in various countries of Europe is causing alarm in the entire continent. Out of all the countries there, Germany is receiving the most number of migrants for asylum. This number is coming up to 154,000.
The drastic increase over an year
The sudden increase in the number of migrants accounts 79% more migrants when compared to those that came in the year 2014. The count of refugee entry into Europe this year is 70,000 according to the report given out by United Nations High Commission for Refugees (UNHCR). The number further increased to 107,500 in July year.
The number of migrants is increasing every month. 28th of August added 270,000 refugees to the ever increasing number of people entering Europe. There is another changed that has been observed in this regard. The most traveled path by the refugees is not the Balkans route anymore. It is now replaced by the Mediterranean. Looking at these numbers, the UNHCR has made a prediction.
How does the future look?
According to this prediction, the number of people trying to enter Western Europe through the Balkans will come up to 3,000 people per day in the next few months. In the same context, the German government also predicted that 800,000 people will come to the country, seeking asylum by the end of this year. Most of these people will be from Syria and Afghanistan.
The reason behind all of these entries from the two countries mentioned above is stated as a method to escape the war conflict. A method has been designed to overcome this problem. To keep migrants away from Europe a fence has been built in Hungary over the border it shares with Serbia.
Unfortunately more than 200 attacks have occurred on migrants in Germany. Now the only hope is that the remedy implemented in this regard works in Europe’s favor.
