Eligibility and application process for Canada Study Permit

The Canada Study Permit is one among the most sought after overseas study permits in the world. There are diverse eligibility requirements for students depending on the course being selected by them for higher education in Canada. The criterion for language proficiency is also different from one university to another for non-native English speakers.

Some universities in Canada do not mandate overseas students to demonstrate evidence of language proficiency if in case they have:

• Studied at an institution for the English language at the secondary level for a minimum of 3 years
• Studied at an institution for the English language at the post-secondary level for a minimum of one year
