Dubai eases visa rules to attract foreign investors

The Gulf country UAE eases visa rules to attract the labor force. The pandemic dip has hit many countries, due to which their economies have dropped drastically. In order to boost their economy, Dubai released a new five-year multiple entry visa to facilitate business trips for foreign nationals based on the firms in the emirates. The UAE has also revealed new private-sector labor laws, which will be into action from February 2022. The Gulf country has launched a draft concerning about:

• Economic and legal reforms
• Longer-term residency visas

All these reforms are introduced to attract foreign investors, which will support the economy's recovery from the pandemic effect.

The Crown Prince of Dubai, the region's business and tourism hub, said the five-year multiple entry visa would help staff of Dubai-based companies easily move in and out of the emirate for meetings and other business needs.

According to Abdulrahman al-Awar, Minister of Human Resources and Emiratisation, this new labor law at the federal level will:

• Attract new talent
• Create an efficient labor market
• Empowers women

Ministry of Human resources also bans "employers holding onto employees' passports and forcing them to leave the country at the end of an employment contract."

The new law strictly prohibits workplace discrimination based on the following factors race, gender, and religion. All these laws will ease the restrictions for travelers to UAE.
