Saskatchewan province in Canada expanded the In-Demand Occupations List and Licensure is required for more than half of these occupations in two if its immigration programs. The expanded list has 43 occupations and licensure required by the applicant seems daunting at times.
On the other hand, for most of the cases, the licensure can be availed even outside Canada in association with one of the appropriate agencies identified by the Saskatchewan government.
A wide range of occupations now finds place in the new occupations list, as quoted by the CIC News. These occupations include IT, Medicine, Engineering, Marketing, Social work, Skilled Trades, Agriculture and several others. The latest In-Demand Occupations List holds good for two sub-categories of the Immigrant Nominee Program of Saskatchewan:
Immigrant Nominee Program of Saskatchewan Overseas Skilled Worker – Express Entry
It is associated with the national Express entry program of Canada
A job offer Is not mandatory
Express Entry pool eligible candidates’ applications are received on a first-served first-come basis
Additional 600 CRS points are awarded to successful applicants
It opened 4 times so far in 2017 and the latest was on July 27
Immigrant Nominee Program of Saskatchewan Overseas Skilled Worker – Occupations In-Demand
