France Tech Visa has been launched by the French Government and it is an innovative French Visa that you may be interested to learn more. If you have adequate funds and an innovative idea for a startup, your dream of living in France can actually be realized.

France Tech Visa is for those ambitious overseas entrepreneurs who dream to have an office in the vicinity of the Eiffel Tower. Prior to commencing your process for this visa, there are several aspects that you must be well aware, as quoted by the Visa Reporter. The first is that you will be required to be accepted by an incubator. This is a group that assists in the growth of your business in France.

Aspirants of the France Tech Visa are also required to earn the minimum salary as decided by the Government of France. The most appealing part of this visa is that it allows being accompanied by children and spouse. Your spouse can also be engaged in a full-time job.

For normal work permits, applicants are required to first obtain a Residence Permit and this takes a quite a time. You can start working only after this. On the other hand, in the case of the France Tech Visa, the residence permit is offered within few months.

Initially, the visa is provisional and has a validity of 4 years that is renewable. To obtain the work permit, immigrant investors are required to fulfill certain requirements that include:

  • Demonstrating evidence of financial records
  • Possess innovative idea for a startup
  • Obtain approval from the administration in France

There are 51 incubators in France with 22 being present in Paris. Other cities in France that have the incubators are Saclay, Bordeaux, Lille, and Toulouse. The France Tech Visa is offered to Startups under 30 categories as determined by the Government of France.
