The 16th Czech Republic Visa Application Centre in India was launched at Goa by the Czech Republic Embassy. This is a significant expansion of its network of VACs in the western region.
The Czech Republic Visa Application Centre in Goa was launched by the Czech Republic Ambassador in India HE Milan Hovorka. It is located at Gera Imperium 3rd floor, Patto Plaza, # 301, Panjim, Goa – 403001.
Speaking at the inauguration of the VAC HE Milan Hovorka said that the launch of the Czech Republic VAC at Goa reflects the true dedication to cater to the growing visa demands. This is with respect to tourists, businesses, and culture in India heading to the nation. Owing to this policy the Czech Republic has surfaced as one amongst the most favored EU destination for Indian travelers, added the Ambassador.
Over a period of 2 years, Embassy of the Czech Republic has launched 16 Visa Application Centers in India. This signifies the growing association of the nation with India, as quoted by the Travelbizmonitor.
VFS Global Middle East and South Asia COO Vinay Malhotra said that there is constant growth in outbound traffic to the Czech Republic from India. The nation is particularly gaining a reputation as a favored overseas travel destination amongst Indian tourists. India is a large source market for European tourism. The new VAC will assist to expand the network of visa services for applicants of Czech Republic visa in the region added Malhotra.
Apart from Goa the Czech Republic has its VACs in 15 other Indian cities. These are Thiruvananthapuram, Pune, Puducherry, New Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Kochi, Jalandhar, Jaipur, Hyderabad, Gurugram, Chennai, Chandigarh, Bengaluru, and Ahmedabad.
