Croatia has received the “Most Desirable Destination in Europe” award at the prestigious Wanderlust Reader Travel Awards which was held on November 7 coinciding with World Travel Market (WTM), the biggest worldwide gathering for the travel and tourism sector. Its position as a remarkable European travel gem was chosen by the magazine’s dedicated readers.

The country won the award after a fierce competition against 9 other countries who were nominated in the same category. Spain took the second place, and earned the silver medal for Europe’s Most Desirable Destination of 2023. Italy secured the third position taking bronze medal home. Other competitors for the award included nations such as France, Greece, Slovenia, Germany, Austria, Scotland, and Iceland.

Croatia’s success as a Tourist Destination
