Canada PGP Sponsorship online forms are available now and will be open until 1 February 2018. This has been revealed by the Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada. Through this program citizens and Canada PR holders can sponsor their grandparents and parents to Canada in 2018.

The online Interest to Sponsor form for Canada PGP Sponsorship was made live on 2 January. Interested sponsors must first submit this form that will be available till 12 pm on 1 February 2018.

The submission of online sponsorship form is the first necessary step for interested participants of Canada PGP. It is, however, not an application. The applicants must be above 18 years of age. They must be either citizens or Canada PR holders intending to sponsor their grandparents and parents to Canada as Permanent Residents.

The interested sponsors must first review the details of the eligibility criterions. This will confirm their eligibility for the program inclusive of income requirements. The Interest to Sponsor from has been now updated. Sponsors have to now declare that they possess adequate mandatory income to support those whom they are sponsoring. They must offer proof for funds that satisfy MNI for individual last 3 years, as quoted by the CIC News.

Potential sponsors are randomly selected by IRCC from the submissions for Interest to Sponsor. They are then invited to apply for sponsoring their grandparents and parents to Canada on PR status. Every applicant who has submitted the online form will be intimated regarding the result of their application.

The applicants who receive the invitation to apply for the Canada PGP Sponsorship will have 3 months to furnish a completed application. This is inclusive of all the supporting documents. In 2018 IRCC aims to receive 10,000 fresh applications for Canada PR through PGP.
