Manitoba in Canada invites 546 individuals for provincial nomination

Manitoba in Canada has invited 546 individuals for provincial nomination through its system of Expression of Interest. These include 148 invites offered through its latest Express entry pathway. Provincial Nominee Program of Manitoba has said that 148 invites have been offered to Express entry candidates. These possess a validation code as a job seeker. They also have at least 6 months of latest work experience in a job on the list for In-demand occupations of MPNP.

The lowest ranked candidate in Express entry who received an invite from the EOI system had a score of 560. 191 invites were also offered to the category of Skilled Workers. The lowest ranking candidate had the EOI score of 647, as quoted by the CIC News.

Additional 64 candidates have been offered the invites through the Initiative for Strategic Recruitment.  It is a part of the Stream Overseas Workers. The lowest ranking candidate had a score of 647.

The Initiative for Strategic Recruitment includes:

Recruitment missions - These are overseas jobs/immigration fairs. They involve MPNP representatives interrogating overseas skilled workers. These are then consequently offered an invite to apply. This precedes a formal Expression of Interest (EOI) to the MPNP by these candidates.

Exploratory visits – Invitations are also offered by the Provincial Nominee Program of Manitoba to those who have undergone an exploratory visit with prior approval. They must also have cleared the interview with the office of the program.

Extra 143 invitations were offered to skilled migrant workers who were outside the province. These satisfied the below criterions:

• A close relative residing in the province or past work experience or past education in the province
• Minimum 6 months latest experience in a job on the list of occupations that are in-demand in the province
• At least CLB 5 proficiency in language
