Canada Eases Visa Procedures for Saudis

Improving the bilateral talks between the two countries - Canada and Saudi Arabia - a joint economic commission meeting will be held by the end of 2015. But before that Canada has something for Saudi nationals: eased visa procedures.

Ambassador Mr. Tom MacDonald said that, " Canada is issuing the vast majority of visas for Saudis now within 10 working days or less and three weeks for students." He also added that there Canada has introduced new measures to facilitate more Saudi visitors to Canada.

Canada opened 3 Visa Application Centers (VACs) in Riyadh, Alkhobar, and Jeddah and have introduced online application system for the applicants. Successful applicants will get a 5 years multiple entry visa with a stay period of up to 6 months.
