Quebec Experience Class
Overseas students who have pursued their studies in Quebec and have completed a graduate, postgraduate, or doctoral, vocational or CEGEP along with possessing a proficiency in the French language at the intermediate level are eligible for this program. They even do not need a work experience.
Provincial Nomination Programs
Overseas students who have completed a post-secondary program in Canada have options in provinces that include Nova Scotia, British Columbia, Prince Edward Island, Alberta, Newfoundland, Manitoba, and Saskatchewan. While some programs mandate that the overseas student also has a job offer or employment experience in the province where the degree was completed, some of them do not require this. The advantage of the provincial nomination programs is that applicants are likely to receive the permanent residency in Canada quicker while compared to other programs.
