The number of Indian students in Canada have increased a good four-fold since 2008. Over 270,000 students have opted to study in Canadian school and universities and the numbers are quite compelling. Indian students make the largest number of foreign students in Canada, closely followed by China.
Canada is now attracting Indian students more than ever with great educational programs, and full-time and part-time job opportunities during and after study. The B-Schools are apparently taking steps to promote themselves to Indian students.
The First Secretary and Trade Commissioner of Canada's High Commission, Ivy Lerner-Frank informed that the best 12 B-Schools of Canada are doing a four-city India tour - Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Delhi, and Mumbai - to let the students know and explore all the opportunities pertaining to education in Canada.
Canada is backed by great financial system and provides an excellent environment for students, and businesses to flourish. The education and living cost is also low compared to other popular destinations across the world. "Scholarships are also available depending upon the academic excellence," said Ivy Lerner-Frank.
