Canada’s British Columbia has held another round of invitations, asking specific tech candidates to apply for a nomination.
On November 30, 2021, British Columbia invited another 89 tech candidates – under BC PNP Tech – that had a job offer in any of the 29 key tech occupations in the province.
Extended indefinitely and accordingly renamed, BC PNP Tech provides tech employers in BC the ability to hire international talent for positions that can’t be filled up locally.
Invitations by BC PNP go out to candidates under three categories – Skills Immigration (SI), Express Entry BC (EEBC), or Entrepreneur Immigration (EI).
While EEBC is linked with the federal Express Entry system, SI runs independently. Both SI and EEBC target skilled foreign workers that want to take up permanent residence in Canada and settle in British Columbia.
The previous BC PNP draw was held on November 23, 2021. The previous BC PNP Tech draw, on the other hand, was held on November 16, 2021.
