Brazil has offered the visa waiver to UAE nationals as stated by the UAE Ambassador, Ahmed Elham Al Dhaheri. All types of UAE passport holders would now be able to travel to Brazil for a period of up to 90 days without prior visa arrangements, effective from July 2nd. He further added that the government’s initiative has opened up new opportunities in the field of tourism and investment exchange between the two countries reaffirming the international stature boasted by the UAE.
After the signing of the visa waiver treaty between the two countries, the Emirates would now be welcomed in Brazil to travel visa-free. The exemption, effective from July 2nd, would allow the nationals from UAE to travel in Brazil without a prior visa arrangement, on the same circumstances, the Brazilians can visit the UAE too.
When it comes to a visa-free travel, with the signing of the visa waiver with Brazil, UAE passport holders can now travel to 151 countries without a prior visa arrangement. This has made it one of the most powerful passports in the region and the 14th most powerful, globally. UAE has gained access to the countries such as Canada, Ireland, Burkina Faso, China, Guinea, Uruguay, Honduras, and Tonga since the start of this year, making it the fastest climber on the list.
The UAE passport has been successful in securing the most number of the visa-waivers in the year 2018 as compared to the countries from all around the world. This step has been seen as the keenness of the UAE to contribute to the overall economic development of all the countries from all around the world, in addition to providing extensive consular services.
