Azerbaijan capital, Baku, is hosting the Formula 1 Grand Prix for the second time on 23-25 June.
The country straddling the continents of Asia and Europe has reiterated that this event will present it with massive opportunities in the future and also encourage the development of tourism in the country.
In order to pitch Azerbaijan, Azernews said that Ilham Aliyev, the President of Azerbaijan, has signed an order to ease visa rules for the tourists during this event.
According to the presidential order, foreign nationals and stateless persons visiting Azerbaijan for the Grand Prix will be able to get visas at all international airports of the country from 15 May to 15 July.
Baku City Circuit is said to be the second longest F1 track, with a length of slightly more than six kilometres.
The layout of the circuit has been designed by Hermann Tilke, a renowned architect for most new Formula 1 tracks.
