Aspiring immigrants to Australia under the Subclass 489 Visa must note that Central West Regional Authority has removed certain occupations. Central West is among the nine Regional Authorities that participate in the NSW Subclass 489 Visa. It has announced the recommencement of the Regional Sponsorship. It has also published a new list that it will sponsor till 30 June 2019, as quoted by the SBS.
Below are the occupations that are now closed by Central West Regional Authority for sponsorship:
• 134111 ANZSCO - Child Care Centre Manager
• 253111 ANZSCO - General Practitioner
• 254422 ANZSCO - Mental Health Registered Nurse
• 234112 ANZSCO - Agricultural Scientist
• 254412 ANZSCO - Aged Care Registered Nurse
• 321211 ANZSCO - Motor Mechanic
• 351311 ANZSCO – Chef
• 254499 ANZSCO – NEC Registered Nurse
• 254418 ANZSCO - Medical Registered Nurse
• 241111 ANZSCO - Early Childhood Teacher
The update is applicable to all the applicants of Regional Sponsorship with Central West under Subclass 489 Visa.
RDACW - Regional Development Australia Central West is working in collaboration with the Department of Industry in NSW (New South Wales). This is for delivering the 489 Visa Program in New South Wales for the Region Central West.
Central West RDA has developed a list of occupations that qualify for the 489 Visa. It can choose and refer candidates for NSW Nomination in accordance with State partnership. The Skills Occupation List of Central West includes occupation criterion that is unique to the needs of industry and business in the region.
