Aspiring immigrants will have more chances through Canadian provincial immigration in 2018 and those looking forward to moving to Canada must be really excited. Increased number of immigrants will be accepted through Provincial Nominee Programs in 2018.
Excluding Quebec, every province in Canada has its own program for immigration known as the Provincial Nominee Program. The CRS scores of applicants who receive the nomination from a province will be boosted as they obtain 600 points. This guarantees an invite from the IRCC for Canada PR in the subsequent draw held in Express entry.
Provinces of Manitoba and Alberta have declared that they will be updating their PNP streams aligned with Express entry. Several other changes have also been planned by these two provinces.
New Alberta Express Entry Stream will be launched by Alberta in 2018. This will permit AINP to offer Canada PR invite nomination to candidates in the Express entry pool. It could also offer an aggressive Canadian provincial immigration option to immigrants to migrate directly to the province. Apart from this several existing streams in this province will be replaced by the Alberta Opportunity Stream in 2018.
The renewal of its PNP in 2018 has also been announced by the Manitoba province. Specific details of the changes in application process and eligibility will be revealed soon in January 2018. It is also launching the occupations list for In Demand. This will be utilized as a guide to update candidates in Manitoba’s EOI pool. They will get information about the applications that will receive the priority.
The list of In Demand occupations will be regularly updated. It will reflect the demands of the labor market in Manitoba and aspiring immigrants must closely follow this.
