Around 100,000 Canada PR applications were approved in 2017 as the Express Entry system continued to expand phenomenally for immigrants. Launched in 2015, the Express Entry system is the crucial propellant that is managing the applications of skilled overseas immigrants.
The latest annual end report of the Express entry has revealed diverse insights into the Canadian immigration system. It includes the fact that around 100,000 Canada PR applications were approved in 2017, as quoted by the CIC News.
In 2017, around 110,000 Canada PR applications were submitted through the Express Entry system. 65, 401 immigrant applicants arrived in Canada as PR holders. Along with this, 96, 182 PR applications were approved. This was a huge increase over 2016 that approved just 40,000 PR applications via the Express Entry.
The program that witnessed phenomenal growth in the Express Entry system in 2017 was the program FSW - Federal Skilled Worker. The FSW applicants received 41, 364 ITAs in 2017 over just 8, 332 ITAs that were offered in 2016.
Launched in 2015, the federal Express Entry System has emerged as the most renowned and organized system of Canadian immigration offering PR to specific candidates. Applicants must register online and score at least 67 points to apply for Canada Permanent Residency. They are awarded points on diverse factors.
