Alberta invites 350 Express Entry candidates with lowest CRS score of 318

Abstract: The province of Alberta, Canada has invited 350 Express Entry candidates with a low CRS score of 318.

Highlights of the Alberta PNP draw:

• Alberta PNP draw held on March 8, 2022, invited 350 candidates with a low score of 318.
• The score was lower by 22 points compared to the last draw.
• The draw was held through the pathway of Express Entry linked with the Alberta Advantage Immigration Program.

On March 8, 2022, Alberta invited 350 international immigrants to apply for permanent residency in Canada.  The details of the draw were announced via the stream of the Alberta Advantage Immigration Program linked with Express Entry. The three hundred and fifty immigrants had a score of 318 in the CRS or Comprehensive Ranking System.

Requirements of the Express Entry of Alberta

To be eligible for the Alberta Express Entry, one must fulfill the requirements given below.

• An existing profile in the Federal Express Entry pool
• Interest in permanent residency in Alberta
• At least 300 points in the CRS
• Employed in an occupation that adds to the diversification and economy of Alberta
• Job offer from an employer-based in Canada
• Work experience in the province of Alberta
• Graduation from a post-secondary institution in Canada
• A relative living in Canada

The reasons which negatively impact the applicants' chances of selection for the ITA are:

• The profile in the Express Entry pool expires within three months.
• The occupation one is employed in is not eligible for the draw
