The Ministry of External Affairs shared data showing a large number of Indians pursuing their higher education overseas. Reports suggest that over 1.3 million Indian students are studying abroad. Kirti Vardhan Singh released data showing that 13,35,878 Indian students are currently studying abroad as of June 2024. He further shared details of Indian students spread across 108 countries for their higher studies.
