Indian skilled workers, here is a good news for you. Australia has made an announcement which is no less than a time to celebrate. The news is that the number of visas granted to the Skilled Migrants in Australia has shot up to a whopping 63% when compared to workers from other streams. Technicians and trade workers together accounted for 22%, 9% went to the managers, and the remaining to migrants from other streams. Scott Morrison, Australia's Immigration minister, gave a brief walk through on the Australian immigration. An overall 190,000 visas were issued in the fiscal year 2013-14, of which 128,000 were given to the skilled occupational migrants.
