The UK High Court has ruled that rogue immigration solicitors are taking advantage of vulnerable immigrants. They are charging 1000s of pounds for legal services that are nowhere adequate in terms of fundamental professional standards, added the court.

Anxious migrants are getting defeated in their lawful claims or are being given fake hopes about unwinnable claims. This is after paying large amounts to rogue immigration solicitors that fail in offering professional service, said the UK HC.

The ruling by the UK HC has revealed that solicitors are asking unqualified people and paralegals to draft petitions. These are well lower than acceptable standards and the judges have to reject for being totally devoid of merit and unarguable, as quoted by the Independent CO UK.

Susceptible individuals are wasting 1000s of pounds that are often taken as loan from friends and family. This is resulting owing to declining access to legal aid, cautioned the UK High Court judges.

In some cases, solicitors are faulting to include appropriate evidence in the court submissions offered by the clients. This makes their claims just unwinnable as crucial facts are misplaced.

Mable Kayiya, the Zimbabwe national who has sought asylum claimed that she paid a solicitor 1,600 pounds. The solicitor denied meeting her and arrived just 2 minutes prior to the beginning of the tribunal court hearing.

Ms. Kayiya arrived in the UK as she fled conflict in her nation. She said that she was feeling dejected after the solicitor offered wrong proof in the court for representing her asylum claim.

The Zimbabwe national added that the solicitor represented as highly recommended. She managed to collect the 1,600 pounds through an online account Go Fund Me.
