Portugal offers several visas to visitors and expats who are planning for Portugal immigration. The country provides short-term and long-term visas to cater to the needs and purpose of immigrants. These are multiple-entry visas issued to immigrants willing to stay in Portugal for less than a year. The following are the different types of temporary stay visas offered by Portugal:
This single-entry visa allows job seekers from non-EU countries to migrate to Portugal and look for job opportunities in the country. The visa is valid for 120 days and can be renewed for another 60 days upon expiry. Portugal Job Seeker visa holders can also take part-time employment while looking for jobs in Portugal.
Portugal, being one of the 26 Schengen countries, allows immigrants to enter the country on short-term Schengen Visas. The short-term Schengen visas enable the holders to enter any of the Schengen countries and stay there for up to 90 days.
