Several citizens and Canada PR holders have loved ones overseas whom they would like to bring over to Canada. The government of Canada offers several pathways to realize this desire. Canadian Family Class Sponsorship programs are one amongst the most liberal programs for the reunification of family globally.
There are several relationships that qualify for the Canadian Family Class Sponsorship. These include dependent children, grandparents and parents, and common-law-partners and spouses. There is also the Canada Super Visa Program for grandparents and parents, as quoted by the CIC News.
The process of sponsoring a spouse for immigrating to Canada offers several options to the applicants and these must be carefully assessed. The Federal Spousal Sponsorship has two categories – Outland and Inland. Both these options have their own disadvantages and advantages.

There are several pathways for bringing over grandparents or parents to Canada. This includes the Grandparents and Parents Sponsorship program of Canada. It has an annual cap for the numbers of applications that can be accepted for sponsorship.
If this cap is reached, applicants still have the option of Canada Super Visa program. This permits grandparents and parents to arrive in Canada through Multiple-entry extended visas that have a validity of totally ten years.
