New Zealand Student Visa

New Zealand Student Visa hopefuls must be cautious of scamming agencies as has been revealed by a case pertaining to a Filipino Immigration Agency. This agency has been alleged of promoting education trafficking. It also had one of the lowest overseas success rates for New Zealand Student Visa.

Immigration New Zealand statistics have revealed that the Filipino agency Pinoy Care had a success rate of 40% for New Zealand Student Visa. This was the lowest success rate for the 22 overseas agencies that were known to offer student visa services to Filipinos. These figures are for the previous fiscal year, as quoted by the Stuff CO NZ.

Jun Kim the Cornell General Manager said that Filipino agents are working for them to recruit students. These are monitored for any inaccurate information. Faulting agencies are warned, he added.

Bien Tabo Philippines Marketing Manager for Cornell said on social media that PTV journalists were funded by Pinoy Care to visit Cornell and New Zealand.

Mikee Santos the migrant support group Migrante Filipino Spokesman said that the news report in PTV about Cornell and Pinoy Care was disgusting. This was one of the attempts by several Filipino agencies efforts to sell a scam. It was that immigrants could obtain New Zealand PR after their studies.

More than 2000 dollars were paid by Filipino students for obtaining New Zealand Student visa and admission at an educational institution. This was with the hope of obtaining Pr for themselves and family members.

John Goulter spokesman for Education NZ said that it did not encourage education as a backdoor entry for PR. Students and education providers are encouraged to use reputed Immigration Agents that focus on high-quality education, he added.
