August 21, 2015 – Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) has conducted its fifteenth round of draws from the Express Entry pool.  A total of 1,523 invitations to apply for permanent residence were issued, with a lowest qualifying score of 456.

This is the sixth consecutive round for which qualifying scores have been below the 600 point benchmark. Candidates in Express Entry are assigned a score using the Comprehensive Ranking System.  Up to 600 points are assigned based on skill factors, including language, employment history and education. An additional 600 points are awarded to candidates who hold valid job offers supported by a Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA). This round of candidates included both canadidates with, and those without, an LMIA.

Since the program's inception a total of 18,950 invitations have been issued.
