You can visit 25 European countries with an EU Blue card. The EU Blue card, once issued, allows you to freely travel and stay in other EU countries for a maximum of 90 days during the 180-day timeframe. However, an EU Blue card issued in Bulgaria, Cyprus, or Romania may not authorize you to visit the other countries in the Schengen area. The Schengen area includes most European countries except Ireland, Denmark, and the UK. With an EU Blue card, you can also travel through the other EU countries en route to the European country where you plan to work.
