Medical tests are not required for everyone to apply for an Australian tourist visa. However, they are required if the candidate is more than 75 years old or below 15 years of age or has any other specific circumstances, like wanting to work in the healthcare industry or having a plan to stay more than 6 months in the country. While medical tests are not necessary for an Australian tourist visa, applicants must have health insurance coverage for the duration of their stay.
