Yes, dependents can apply for an EU Blue Card via Family Reunification. The EU Blue card allows the holders to have their family accompany them when it is issued for the first time. A residence permit is granted to the family of the EU Blue card holder with the same validity as that of the Blue Card. The residence permit will be issued for the same duration as an EU Blue Card. Spouses, common-law partners, adopted children, dependent children, dependent parents and relatives, and same-sex partners, in some cases, are considered eligible family members for an EU Blue Card.
