Australia wants UK entrepreneurs to migrate Down Under, according to a study by Crown Relocations, a transportation and relocations company.
The study revealed that about nine out of 10 Australians would be glad if entrepreneurs from Britain would relocate to their country. Twenty percent of Australians felt that their country lacked entrepreneurs.
As of now, business immigration visas to Australia include the Business Innovation and Investment (Provisional) visa (subclass 188) and Business Talent (Permanent) visa (subclass 132), besides the Australian 457 work visa and other skilled migration visas.
John Morris, National Manager at Crown Relocations, who oversaw the survey, said that everybody was aware that Australia is an attractive tourist destination and a lovely country, but they need to take cognisance of the fact that it offers promising prospects for entrepreneurs, who want to live and work abroad.
For Britons, Australia has always been a popular destination. The study says that people from Down Under are crying out for mercantile talent from the UK and like to encourage citizens of Britain to apply for an Australian visa and start life anew in their country.
In fact, a 2014 GEI (Global Entrepreneurship Index) rated Britain as Europe’s most entrepreneurial nation.
