The Technical University of Munich (TUM), known as Technische Universität München in German, is one of Germany’s leading public universities. Technical University of Munich’s acceptance rate is 8%. The university enrolls students via its semester-based admission. However, most of the degree programs only accept new students in the winter semester, and in the summer semester, they accept applications for transfer or higher-semester individuals.

Complete scholarships are not offered by TUM Graduate School; bridge financing and completion grants are only granted. On the other, doctoral students have the luxury of selecting from various scholarships that external providers like DAAD and other foundations grant. The scholarships in Germany listed below are available directly from the TUM.
The scholarships offered include the International Student Scholarship, Scholarship Deutschlandstipendium, Leonzhard Lorenz Foundation, and Loschge Scholarship, among others. The amounts of these scholarships vary from €500 to over €10,000, with students from low-income families receiving larger amounts.
Moreover, students can also opt to work to pay for their various expenses. TUM offers more than 3,000 jobs on its job career portal to allow students to select from.
