Rotary Foundation Global Scholarship Grants for Development

Amount of Scholarship offered: €300 per month for a minimum of two semesters to full-time international students from any part of the world for graduate-level students to fund their visa/passport, tuition, and accommodation fees, among others.  

Start date: Academic Year 2025/2026

Last date for Application: Rolling, depending on the Rotary Club or District applied to. 

Courses covered: Full-time Masters offered at any university approved located in a country where there are host Rotary clubs or districts, in foreign countries for overseas students.

 The Rotary Foundation Global Scholarship Grants for Development are granted to outstanding students with eligibility from all over the world who enroll in programs focusing on basic education and literacy, economic and community development, disease prevention and treatment, maternal and child health, peace and conflict prevention/resolution, and water and sanitation.

Entitled to Rotary Foundation Global Scholarship Grants for Development are foreign students from all over the world enrolling in bachelor’s level coursework or research wherever there are host Rotary clubs or districts.

Eligible for the scholarship are applicants fulfilling the following criteria: Non-members of Rotary Clubs.

How does one apply globally to the Rotary Foundation Global Scholarship?

Eligible applicants for the scholarship must follow the steps mentioned below:

Interested students can get in touch with their local Rotary clubs through the Rotary Club Locator website to ask how they can be eligible for the grant.

Step 1: Grant applications must be submitted online. The clubs or districts sponsoring initiate the initial application, during which the eligible candidate must complete an online profile.

Step 2: Applications for global grant scholarships are admitted throughout the year on a rolling basis. The applications, however, need to be submitted a minimum of three months before the eligible individual’s planned date of departure to allow sufficient time for review and processing by the Rotary Foundation.
