Tourists Intending To Visit Azerbaijan Can Now Get E-Visa From Travel Agencies!

Azerbaijan’s Parliament has made entry into its country easy. Those intending to visit the country can now simply step into an authorized travel agency and attain an e-visa! No visiting the embassy or standing in long queues. A bill to this effect was ratified by the Azerbaijan Parliament on October 17^th.

The application forms to visit this beautiful breathtaking country, can be found on the websites of tourism companies that are registered and recognized. The forms should be duly filled and sent to the foreign partner companies with scanned copies of the applicant’s passport and photograph.

The tourism companies tied up with the Azerbaijan Ministry of Tourism and Culture or with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, can apply online to get the electronic tourist visas. The filled in forms are then directly sent to the concerned ministry for approval. The list of documents and the fees will be determined by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Visa applications upon submission, will be processed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs within 15 days. The duration of visit through this facility is 30 days. Those interested to travel the country should approach the travel agencies, to know more about the documents to be furnished. Visiting this country is not much of a hassle. One just needs passport, a travel coupon or a pass, traveler ticket and the specified documents to present at the airport.
