The survey of HSBC Statista has revealed the top overseas study nations preferred by parents across the globe. The survey has assessed feedback from 8, 481 parents across the globe in 15 nations to compile the list of the top overseas study nations. This is an indication of the choice of global study destinations the parents would like to send their children to. The survey also gives details of the funds that parents spend for the education of their children in these top overseas study nations.
Rank 1: The US, 47% of votes
Rank 2: Australia, 40% of votes
Rank 3: The UK, 39% of votes
Rank 4: Canada, 25% of votes
Rank 5: Germany, 23% of votes

First place: Medicine
Second place: Management and Finance
Third place: Engineering
The US is the preferred destination for overseas studies for parents in Taiwan, China, and Canada, as quoted by the Times of India. Parents in Malaysia, Singapore, and Indonesia preferred Australia as the destination for the overseas education of their children. On the other hand parents in Hong Kong, UAE and France would like to send their children to the UK for the overseas education.
