Nova Scotia, the most enjoyable place to work in Canada, is currently accepting immigration applications of the foodservice workers under the Occupations in Demand stream.
Due to the pandemic dip, all the restaurants were shut down and had a hard hit. Even though the country's economy is resuming back to its normal state, few sectors like the food industry still face labor shortages.
In order to fulfill the labor market needs, Nova Scotia added three more new roles in its Occupations in Demand immigration stream. These include:
| “We’re excited to welcome newcomers who can help employers meet their labor needs and grow Nova Scotia’s population,” Jill Balser, Nova Scotia’s immigration minister, said in the release. “The tourism, restaurant and hospitality sectors are critical to our economy. These changes will help these industries hire the workers they need to prepare for a busy tourism season.” |
