Jagmeet Singh the son of two Indian immigrants who moved to Canada from Punjab is a charismatic leader who will take Prime Minister Justin Trudeau head on in the federal elections to be held in 2019. Mr. Singh heads one of the 3 chief Canadian political parties the New Democratic Party and could become the next Prime Minister if his party wins the 2019 elections.
In fall 2017, history was created when Jagmeet Singh became the first Sikh man to head one of the 3 chief Canadian political parties. He is a lawyer, a practicing Sikh man and just 38 years old son of two Indian immigrants.
Mr. Singh is a living testimony to the fact that immigrants are capable of achieving their dreams in Canada. Prior to his entry in politics, Jagmeet Singh was based at Toronto as a Criminal Defense Lawyer. He forayed into Canadian politics in 2011 and won a seat in the provincial elections of Ontario. Thus, he became the first turbaned Sikh man in Canada to be seated in the Parliament of Ontario, as quoted by the Canadim.
Jagmeet Singh is renowned for his stylish fashion sense and bright turbans. He is fluent in Punjabi, English and French languages. Martial arts practice is his hobby. The passion and youthful energy that Mr. Singh possesses has enabled him to share his Indian culture and Sikh heritage with those several Immigrants across Canada.
If Mr. Singh is victorious in the 2019 elections, he could be the next Prime Minister of Canada. It is also likely that the immigration quotas of Canada will be increased as his New Democratic Party supports high levels of immigration.
We would like to see a nation that actually and importantly welcomes one and all said, Jagmeet Singh. It will be ensured that each individual has access to opportunities for success, he added.
