Top 10 cities expats prefer to live and work abroad

Expats looking for a career abroad are careful about choosing the country where they want to live and work. They look at factors such as quality of life, personal life, family life etc.  The latest Expat Insider survey by InterNations, conducted every year did a survey of 20,000 expats living in various countries. The participants belonged to 178 different nationalities and were living in 187 countries. The participants were asked to rank countries based on important factors such as ease of settling in, quality of life, personal life, working abroad, and family life. Taipei, Taiwan

• 96% of expats feel safe in the city
• 94% of expats appreciate the quality and affordability of healthcare facilities
• 67% of expats find the local culture easy to adjust to
• 72% of expats reported job satisfaction
• 76% of expats are happy with their work-life balance

2. Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

• 78% of expats feel safe in the city
• 86% of expats appreciate the quality and affordability of healthcare facilities
• 74% of expats find the local culture easy to adjust to
• 80% of expats reported job satisfaction
• 68% of expats are happy with their work-life balance

3. Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam

• 79% of expats feel safe in the city
