BC PNP Draw

In the latest draw held on August 7, 2020, the province of British Columbia has invited 437 immigration candidates to apply for a provincial nomination through the BC Provincial Nominee Program [BC PNP].

Skilled workers and international graduate candidates invited under the categories of Skilled Worker, International Graduate, as well as Entry Level and Semi-Skilled Worker categories.

All invited Skills Immigration and Express Entry candidates are required to have a full-time job offer with an employer in BC.

Invited candidates that are able to secure a provincial nomination will get an additional 600 points towards their Comprehensive Ranking System [CRS] scores. Coming into play when the profiles are in the Express Entry pool, the CRS is used for ranking profiles against one another.

Simply put, the higher the CRS, the sooner an Invitation to Apply [ITAfor Canada PR – from Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada [IRCC] – can be expected. With a 600 points boost through a PNP nomination, it is a guarantee that the candidate will receive an ITA in the subsequent federal Express Entry draw that is held.

To be eligible for the Skills Immigration and Express Entry BC categories, candidates are required to register themselves with the online portal of the BC PNP. Upon registration, a score is allotted to the candidate as per the BC PNP Skills Immigration Registration System [SIRS].
