If an applicant’s visa application is rejected, the first step is to review the rejection letter to understand the reason carefully. Unfortunately, a denied visa will set back your travel plans since you won’t be able to travel to Australia.
Below are some of the reasons that may deny the visa:
If your visa application is rejected, you can appeal online through your Immigration account, ensuring you submit a comprehensive and accurate application. Here are the steps to re-apply for the Australia visa:
Step 1: Appeal online through the AAT or Administrative Appeals Tribunal
Step 2: Send your request within 28 days after being notified about the rejection
Step 3: Pay the application fees of around $1,826
An applicant would be eligible for a 50 percent reduction in the fees if you cannot afford it. The payment should be made within 28 days after being notified about the rejection. If the decision is not in your favor, you will be refunded the full amount of the reapplication. After you have re-applied for the visa, an application will be sent a letter confirming your application.
The tentative duration for the time taken for the appeal is given in the table below:

Duration (in days) |
Student Refusal |
