HYDERABAD: In order to enable foreigners to utilise online visa services, the office of the Foreigners' Regional Registration Officer (FRRO) in Hyderabad has started the new Indian Visa of Foreigners and Registration Tracking (IVFRT) project from December 21.
With the launch of IVFRT, foreigners can now utilise various visa-related services like registration, extension, exit permit, return visa, PIO/OCI facilities by logging on to www.immigrationindia.nic.in, www.mha.nic.in or www.mha.gov.in.
"Foreigners who log on to these websites can book an appointment and approach the office of the FRRO in 24 hours after online registration. Based on that, their documents will be processed by office staff," Bhavna Saxena, the Hyderabad FRRO, said.
