McDonough School of Business (Georgetown University)

The Robert Emmett McDonough School of Business, short for the McDonough School of Business, or the MSB, is the Georgetown University’s business school, which is located in Washington, D. C. Founded in 1957, it awards undergraduate as well as graduate degrees. It was renamed in 1998 in honor of alumnus of Georgetown Robert Emmett McDonough.

In 2009, the McDonough School of Business shifted into the Rafik B. Hariri Building, a new building named after the late Rafik Hariri, former PM of Lebanon and father of alumnus of Georgetown, Saad Hariri, also a former Lebanese PM. 

The new building includes 120 faculty offices, 11 interview rooms within the Career Management Office, 15 conference rooms, a 400-seat auditorium, etc.

McDonough offers 1400 undergraduate and 1400 postgraduate seats. Those wanting to apply to the MBA course will require a top score on GMAT, besides a significant GPA, language proficiency scores, essays, résumés, and letters of recommendation (LORs).
