The Robert Emmett McDonough School of Business, short for the McDonough School of Business, or the MSB, is the Georgetown University’s business school, which is located in Washington, D. C. Founded in 1957, it awards undergraduate as well as graduate degrees. It was renamed in 1998 in honor of alumnus of Georgetown Robert Emmett McDonough.
In 2009, the McDonough School of Business shifted into the Rafik B. Hariri Building, a new building named after the late Rafik Hariri, former PM of Lebanon and father of alumnus of Georgetown, Saad Hariri, also a former Lebanese PM.
The new building includes 120 faculty offices, 11 interview rooms within the Career Management Office, 15 conference rooms, a 400-seat auditorium, etc.

McDonough offers 1400 undergraduate and 1400 postgraduate seats. Those wanting to apply to the MBA course will require a top score on the GMAT, besides a significant GPA, language proficiency scores, essays, résumés, and letters of recommendation (LORs). An application for an MBA at McDonough School of Business costs $175.
Students admitted to the B-school will have to pay $30,447 to $33,840 per semester to pay for the tuition fees. The placement rate at McDonough is 73%, and students who graduate from it get an average yearly salary of $118,005.

The school offers summer undergraduate research fellow programs to students to conduct original research on a subject of their choice. Students also get $3,000 and $6,000 for 5-6 week projects and 10-12 week projects, respectively.
