China, the world’s second-largest economy, which accounts for 15 percent of global GDP, has its tech hub as well as the country’s financial hub in Shanghai. In this city, a one and half year MBA program launched by CEIBS (China Europe International Business School) has gained worldwide prominence with the Financial Times and Forbes ranking it the number one management program in Asia.
According to businessbecause.com, all international students graduating out of that school got job offers in Asia. Of them, 70 percent opted to stay back in China, with most of them getting Jobs in Shanghai.
The CEIBS Alumni International Chapter Shanghai started its operations in November 2016 to help foreign MBA graduates start a new career in the city by linking them with employers, potential investors and business partners.
Vijay Nadipineni, an Indian who is a graduate of CEIBS, said that he found out about CEIBS in London. Since he was an Indian who had worked on lived in the UK and East Africa, he felt that China would add value to his exposure. Vijay said that worldwide acclaim of CEIBS as the top business school in Asia was an additional attraction that brought him to China.
He said that he would not have landed a job in Shanghai without CEIBS.
