PNP BC invites skilled graduates and workers for Canada immigration

Invitations for Canada immigration via Provincial Nomination have been offered to skilled graduates and workers by the British Columbia province. This was on the Provincial Nominee Program British Columbia draw held on 11 July 2018. It was for its Express Entry BC and Skills Immigration streams. A total of 241 fresh invites were offered in this draw.

The invitations offered in the latest draw were for candidates under the Express Entry and Skills Immigration streams PNP BC, as quoted by the CIC News.

The minimum scores for individual category in the latest draw of PNP BC were as below:

Overseas Graduate - EEBC	96
Skilled Worker - SI	87
Overseas Graduate - SI	96
Entry Level and Semi-Skilled - SI	65

Candidates under the Skilled Worker and Overseas Graduates of the BC Express Entry received 188 invites. If they are successful in their application for provincial nomination, 600 extra CRS points will be awarded to them.

Candidates aspiring for Canada immigration via PNP BC are first required to create an online profile. They must also submit a complete registration form. Profiles of applicants are then assessed and offered scores based on diverse factors. These include work experience, language proficiency, education, age, and others.

Majority of the applicants for categories managed under PNP BC need an indefinite and full-time job offer. This is from an employer in the BC province. On the other hand, only a 1-year job offer is required for jobs in any one of the 29 occupations in the Tech Pilot of PNP BC. They are nevertheless required to fulfill all other criterions for the pilot.
