USC Marshall School of Business 

The USC Marshall School of Business, the University of Southern California’s business school is located in Los Angeles, California. It is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business. 

Established in 1960 as the Graduate School of Business Administration, it was renamed in 1997 after receiving a donation of $35 million from alumnus Gordon S. Marshall.

The school is housed in five multi-story buildings on campus. They are the Accounting building (ACC), Bridge Hall (BRI), Hoffman Hall (HOH), Jill and Frank Fertitta Hall (JFF), and Popovich Hall (JKP) where undergraduate programs are conducted.  

Marshall Business School offers courses in business administration in bachelor’s and master’s level programs. The total number of registered students at the school is more than 5,300 and it has over 180 academic staff.

The Campus of Marshall Business School 

The school has more than 40 graduate student clubs that are primarily associated with all students pursuing their full-time MBA programs. Several events are organized in the school to build stronger relationships between the students and the Marshall Graduate Students Association Professional and Managers (MGSA.PM) teams.

Marshall Business School’s Accommodation Facilities

Although the institution provides accommodation facilities for students, not all students can be housed within the college premises owing to the increasing demand and admissions.

But available are several off-campus accommodations within a short distance from the college campus for students.

After the students register themselves on the housing portal provided by the school, the students can for the on-campus housing facilities.

  • Students interested in applying for this school can visit its official website to apply online. They need to keep themselves updated with important dates and events.
  • Candidates are urged to attach all the essential transcripts during the process of application. Later, they also need to have the original documents on them during the process of acceptance.
  • Provided to the candidates will be three essay writing options, of which one is optional.
  • Since the GMAT or GRE scores are accepted, aspiring students of this school also need to submit these test scores.
  • They need to submit their professional résumé during the application process.
  • Foreign students who want to apply to this school should prove their proficiency in the English language by taking exams such as TOEFL or IELTS.

  • The IBEAR scholarship is given to candidates with outstanding academic records so that they can keep obtaining steadily significant test scores.
  • Candidates who have first-rate academic records can gain some leadership skills. Such students are offered scholarships.
  • Most of these scholarships are offered to eligible candidates and those who are natives of the United States.
  • This IBEAR program offers the student around 43 scholarships. The scholarships range from $5,000 to $50,000.
