Ontario offers fresh ITAs for Canada PR to EE candidates

Ontario province has offered fresh ITAs for Canada PR via Provincial Nomination to Express Entry candidates. This was through the latest draw held on 19 0ctober. It includes the 2018 high of 439 ITAs through its Stream Skilled Trades. The other stream that was included in the draw for ITAs was Skilled Worker French Speaking.

439 ITAs is the maximum offered in a single draw so far in 2018 through the Stream Skilled Trades. This brings the total ITAs offered so far this year via this stream to 1, 445, as quoted by the CIC News.

The STS permits OINP - Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program to look for candidates in the federal Express Entry pool. This is for those who are currently residing in the province. They are also required to possess at least 1 year of full-time experience. It can be alternatively part-time also equivalently. This is in the National Occupational Classification of Canada’s skilled trade listed in Major Group 82, 73, or 72 or Minor Group 633.

The candidates are also needed to cater to the provincial criteria of the stream. This includes minimum French or English proficiency at CLB - Canadian Language Benchmark 5.

Successful Express Entry candidates who are nominated by Ontario receive 600 extra CRS points. This brings them at the forefront for receiving an Invitation to Apply for Canada PR.

All Express Entry candidates are encouraged by OINP to indicate their interest for migrating to Ontario or All Provinces or Territories. This is while creating their profile in Express Entry. It will enable them to be considered for this stream.

The Skilled Worker French Speaking and Stream Skilled Trades do not have any minimum requirement of CRS score.
