Investments made by Indian firms are of great value says the US

The US has said that the investments made by Indian firms in the US are of great value to it and it desires to have very good financial relations between both the nations. This was followed after Finance Mister of India Arun Jaitley raised the concerns faced by India on the H1-B visas with the US Finance Mister Steven Mnuchin. Mark Toner, the Acting Spokesman of the US State Department said that the US is inclined to ensure that there are strong business and trade relations between India and the US, quotes Times of India. He was replying to the queries of the reporters regarding the current review of the H1-B visas that is being carried out by the US administration led by Trump and its likely effect on the IT firms in India that are the major beneficiaries of the visas. Toner elaborated that the continued investments made by the Indian firms in the economy of the US are greatly valued and this also has generated thousands of jobs in the nation. He said that he would have to have a check if there is any fresh updating for the requirements of the visas. Toner also added the new administration in the US was always keen on innovative methods to fortify processes such as the admission processes and visa interviews. The US State Department Spokesman said that this has been so from the initial days of the new government which was also applicable for refugee inflows and immigration as well. These are ever evolving and continuous processes added Toner. Regarding the process of visa reviews, Toner said that it was crucial to bear in mind that this was the manner in which the US Consular bureau and its overseas consular offices' function. It was also applicable to the US embassies and missions that operate overseas and the visa review was a continuous process.
